Once the site of a four story hotel and rooming house, Shelter Haven is a waterfront site on the bay of Stone Harbor; a small beach community south of Atlantic City, NJ. The concept for this new resort hotel is the creation of a family friendly resort catering to vacationers during the summer beach season, and weddings, and corporate retreats during the balance of the year. Overlooking the water’s edge, the main level is open to the waterfront and an outdoor lawn and garden areas. This level will encompass a restaurant, bar, private dining room, hotel lobby and lounge, dining porches, a bar pavilion, and outdoor venue area. A second level deck and pool area both a small bar and adjoining fitness and spa area will provide activities throughout the day and evening. The 38 suites above are oversized to accommodate family needs and extended vacations. Upper floors will offer water views of the Bay and the Ocean which will be enjoyed from private balconies.
