Located in downtown Philadelphia in the heart of the Independence Hall Historic District this Steakhouse was imagined, created and built for Philadelphia. The design objective was to create a warm, welcoming inviting ambiance in the vast space by blending newly enhanced existing architectural features brought to life by the careful addition of new modern elements. The restaurant houses a Charcuterie, two bars, cascading dining platforms, mezzanine dining, private dining, and 18,000+ bottles of wine display. The Main dining room alone is 6,250 SF with 47-foot high ceilings.

The restoration of the travertine stone walls became the canvas for a blending of jewel like materials of ruby, sapphire, amethyst and citron colors which created a dining space of sophisticated color. The existing plaster ceiling was restored with the original castings highlighted with rich metal colors floating in a rich deep night sky colored blanket. The custom chandeliers add a twinkling modern touch; their form reminiscent of the buildings original Federal style light fixtures. The chandeliers are purposefully made of different lengths and hung at random locations to balance the seriousness and impressiveness of the historic space. The original cast plaster arches have been dressed with 20 foot high wood cut filigree screens over fiery red toned acoustical panels which allow the arches to become a series of decorative backlit windows surrounding the dining space.
